historical drama: Is "Daming Fenghua" really the elegance of the MingDynasty?
As an important period of rule in ancient Chinese history, "ren andpropaganda" did not receive enough attention in the film and televisionworks of the early Ming Dynasty. Recently, the TV series "Bright MingFeng Hua" has filled this gap, and every day there is a search for"Zhu Family Funny". The play is proud of a "historyplay" and a group of famous actors. It seems reallyambitious. It's time for the audience to take a closer look at"Faming for Feng Ming". However, it is regrettable that variousdetails appear frequently in the play, such as the portrait of the long-facedZhu Yuanzhang that appeared only in the middle and late Ming Dynasty, theEnglish-speaking Dutch, and the "Anhui" and "Jiangsu" thatappeared only in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. The audience couldn't helpasking: "Bright Ming Fenghua", is it really the Ming Dynasty Fenghua?
As of the end of this article, the author has read the first 24 episodes andhas many questions. Now, I would like to introduce some more seriousdetails of historical traversal.
First, the "Throne", "Memorial Hall" and "MinisterialOffice" appeared hundreds of years ago.
At the beginning of the script, the first episode has the saying of"Ministry of Industry Passbook", and then basically every episode hasthe saying of "Throne" and "Passbook". In episode 17,there is a simple proverb called "Passbook from the newspaperoffice". In the twentieth episode, Judy angrily condemned Wang Han"I give you all the minister rooms."
However, neither the "Memorial Hall", the "Memorial Hall"nor the "Ministerial Office" should appear in the MingDynasty. They all appeared in the Qing Dynasty.
In the Ming Dynasty, the government procedure should be the general governmenttaking over internal and external memorials and vassal petitions, and thencollecting state officials' memorials or inscriptions. In fact, thememorial mentioned in the play was an institution established by the QingDynasty for the emperor to receive and transmit documents anddecrees. They are divided into internal memorials and externalmemorials. The throne was unique to the Qing Dynasty. It was animportant document in which senior Qing officials reported major public andprivate affairs directly to the emperor. It is more private thaninscriptions and monuments. This is why we can see that Emperor Yongzhengwrote so frank spoken words in the memorial, such as "I really don't knowhow to love you". Shang Shufang has nothing to do with governmentaffairs. This is also a place for the prince and grandson to learn in theQing Dynasty. After Daoguang, it was changed to "Shang Shufang"
